Golden Step Consultancy
Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms before registering, submitting information, making a payment or using the recruitment and manpower features of this website.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Golden Step Consultancy website and its candidate, employer, registration, manpower-request and support features. By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website. Additional terms displayed for a particular feature or payment will also apply to that feature.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
- You must be legally capable of entering into an agreement under applicable law. If you are not, you may use the website only with the involvement and authorisation of a parent or lawful guardian where permitted.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information and update it when it changes.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- Do not create an account using another person’s identity or provide documents you are not authorised to submit.
3. Candidate Registration and Responsibilities
Candidates may register as a fresher or experienced candidate and may be asked to provide contact details, education, skills, experience, job preferences and a resume or supporting documents.
- You confirm that the information in your profile, resume and documents is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is not misleading.
- You must have the right to share any resume, certificate, photograph or other document you upload.
- You are responsible for checking job details, employer communications, interview arrangements, salary terms and any offer before accepting an opportunity.
- Registration or payment does not guarantee an interview, job offer, selection, visa, salary, placement or employment.
4. Employer Registration and Responsibilities
Employers may submit company information, contact details and verification documents for review. Employer registration is currently offered free of charge.
- The person registering must be authorised to act for the company and must provide truthful company and contact information.
- Verification documents must be genuine, current and lawfully held by the employer.
- Approval is subject to review. We may request additional information, decline an application or suspend an account if details cannot be verified or these Terms are breached.
- Employers must provide genuine and lawful vacancy details, salary and working conditions, and must not use the website for deceptive, discriminatory, exploitative or unlawful recruitment.
- Employers are responsible for their hiring decisions, workplace conditions, employment contracts, statutory obligations and communications with candidates.
5. Manpower Requests and Job Information
Approved employers may submit manpower requirements through the website. Manpower-request submission is currently free of charge. A request may be reviewed before it is accepted, displayed or acted upon. Submission does not guarantee that candidates will be available, that a vacancy will be published, or that any position will be filled. Employers must promptly correct or withdraw outdated, filled or inaccurate requirements.
6. Candidate Fees and Payment Verification
- Any candidate registration fee or other charge will be shown in the relevant registration or payment flow before you are asked to pay. The fee and available payment methods may be controlled by the website administrator.
- Where manual payment verification is used, you may be asked to submit a transaction reference or UTR number and a payment screenshot. These details allow the administrator to review the payment.
- A submitted screenshot or UTR is not, by itself, confirmation that payment has been received or approved. The payment status changes only after the website's authorised administrator completes the review and updates the record.
- Use only the payment instructions shown on the website or provided through an authorised Golden Step Consultancy communication channel. Never share your card PIN, banking password or OTP with anyone claiming to be support staff.
- Any refund, cancellation or adjustment terms shown at the payment step or separately communicated in writing form part of that transaction. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not limited by these Terms. Contact us before paying if the displayed refund or cancellation information is unclear.
7. Recruitment Process and No Guarantee of Outcome
Golden Step Consultancy provides a platform and coordination process for candidates and employers to submit information and communicate about recruitment requirements. We do not guarantee the accuracy or continued availability of every vacancy or third-party statement, and we do not guarantee selection or placement. The employer makes its own hiring decisions and the candidate makes their own decision whether to apply, attend an interview or accept an offer. Any employment relationship is between the candidate and the employer, not created by these Terms.
8. Resumes, Documents and User Content
You retain rights you hold in the content you submit. You give Golden Step Consultancy permission to host, store, review and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate the website, verify registrations, administer payments, provide support and coordinate relevant recruitment activity.
You must not upload unlawful, false, infringing, malicious or irrelevant material, or personal information about another person unless you have authority to provide it. Do not upload payment card credentials, passwords or OTPs.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not impersonate another person or company; submit false qualifications or vacancies; harass, threaten or discriminate against another user; collect candidate information for unrelated or unauthorised purposes; interfere with website security; introduce malware; scrape or copy website content at scale without permission; attempt unauthorised access; or use the website in breach of law. You must not use the platform to advertise unlawful jobs, collect unauthorised recruitment fees or mislead candidates.
10. Privacy and Personal Information
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the website, you acknowledge that information will be handled as described there and as permitted or required by applicable law.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may link to or rely on third-party services, including email, authentication, hosting, storage, maps, payment apps or external websites. Those services are operated by third parties and may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control. Check the relevant provider's terms before using its service.
12. Website Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend or discontinue a website feature for maintenance, security, operational or legal reasons. We aim to keep the website available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may correct content or change features, provided that any applicable legal rights are respected.
13. Suspension and Account Closure
We may restrict, suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe that the account is fraudulent, inactive in a way that creates a security risk, used in breach of these Terms, or presents a legal, safety or operational risk. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide an explanation or an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may ask to close your account through the Contact Us page. Some records may be retained where required for transactions, disputes, security or law.
14. Disclaimers and Liability
The website is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the website will always be available, that user-submitted information is accurate, or that a recruitment process will result in employment.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights or remedies that applicable consumer or other mandatory law preserves. To the extent permitted by law, Golden Step Consultancy is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from a user's independent dealings with another user or a third-party service.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the courts and forums that have jurisdiction under applicable Indian law. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory legal remedy or forum available to a consumer or other protected user.
16. Changes and Contact
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
For questions about these Terms, account issues, payments or complaints, contact us through the Contact Us page.
